Exciting changes are in store for Bud’s Seafood Grille, celebrating its twenty-five year anniversary in Lincoln Center this year, April 1 (Easter Sunday). To celebrate, the restaurant will undergo a complete remodeling of its storefront, expanding to add new tables and windows and a completely re-envisioned entry. This family owned Stockton eatery has been named San Joaquin County’s Best Seafood Restaurant every year since it opened in 1993. Owners Bud and Jeanne Millsap, along with son Matt (who has worked alongside his parents for the past 17 years) continually strive to stay current in terms of decor, enticing new menu options, and an inviting bar area. But one thing will never change: their commitment to providing consistently delicious food to their clientele.
Bud’s motto has always been “simple and fresh”. Even before it was trendy, they purchased local and organic produce whenever possible and adhered to sustainable fishing practices for procuring the freshest fish around. They only serve halibut when halibut is in season. Food is prepared daily from scratch including salad dressings and desserts. The restaurant is also happy to accommodate special dietary needs in food preparation. In addition to fresh seafood dishes, Bud’s serves up delicious ribeye steaks, chicken marsala, the ever-popular Bud’s beef and fabulous home-made soups and entree salads. Their clam chowder rivals anything found on the East Coast!
The restaurant bar is a hip and comfortable place to enjoy a cocktail with friends. The special menu of “Bar Bites” is an affordable treat offering tasty fish tacos, wedge salad, calamari and other lighter fare. Weekly “Wine Wednesday” offers guests $10 off any bottle of wine on the menu (except house wine). If you are looking for a great place to enjoy Sunday Brunch, you’ll find it at Bud’s – try the incredible Crab Cake Benedict!
Bud’s Seafood Grille values their loyal customers who are like family to them. They have many with standing reservations who call to say when they are not coming in. The restaurant has outdoor
patio dining that seats 30 and a banquet room that can accommodate up to 40 guests making it an ideal spot to host a birthday party, shower, meeting or other group event. Bud’s Seafood Grille is also famous for their catering services for large or small celebrations as well as box lunches for business meetings.
