Ribeye, Filet Mignon, Prime Rib. These are just a few of the incredible dishes you’re going to find at Prime Table here in Lincoln Center. Owned and operated by the owners of Market Tavern, the newest addition to the Center has been quite the success so far.

Since its opening in December 2016, Prime Table has been living up to its name by serving high-quality, American beef. “The quality of meat is high, and the way it’s prepared, along with the equipment we bought to prepare it, complements the beef,” said Nick DiArenzo, co-owner of Prime Table.

Alongside the beef, they’re also serving up some of the best sides in town, like Triple Cooked Fries, a Wild Shrimp Cocktail, French Onion Soup, or take a healthier route with Brussels & Cauliflower. Prime Table is also offering seafood and vegetarian options.

Since both Market Tavern and Prime Table try to use as many fresh, locally grown ingredients as possible, there will be seasonal vegetables on the menu, including favorite springtime asparagus. And you can even find local ingredients in
the cocktail list, with choices like Linden Cherry or Black Walnut Manhattans. There is also a carefully cultivated wine list, which includes many local wines, but also some old-world varietals to choose from.

The interior décor of the restaurant was planned just as carefully as the menu. Comprised of the main dining area with the bar, and a banquet room, Prime Table even has its televisions set to black and white to add to the ambiance. As you first walk in the door you are greeted with vintage classics like Audrey Hepburn artwork, a Frank Sinatra headshot and music that makes you feel as if you’re in a different era. “The vibe of the place complements the food and makes for a unique dining experience,” promises Nick.

As for what compelled the owners to go forward with planning another restaurant when they already have a successful one? Passion. Their love for the restaurant business and sup-plying Stockton with the most high-quality food at fair prices.

With an ever-growing interest in local restaurants serving high-quality food and thankfulness for the support of both restaurants, they’re not looking to slow down yet: Nick says, “Look for more things to come.

Welcome Back, C.R. Porter!

It was in November 1998 that owner Tammy Kelley was inspired to open C.R. Porter after recognizing a lack of furnishing stores in Stockton. Her beautiful store has since been the premier provider of living room furniture, dining room furnishings, bedroom sets and plenty of accessories. From the beautiful decorative Sid Dickens tiles to Jan Barboglio’s impressive wrought iron accessories – there is no shortage of one of a kind additions to your home.

“Each customer offers an opportunity to be creative,” said Tammy. “We’re creating relationships and providing a personal touch.” It’s not unusual for her to see something while she’s shopping and pick it up because she thinks it would be a perfect t for a customer’s home.

C.R. Porter prides itself on curating a collection of unique things that they promise have character. And since they work with so many boutique manufacturers, some of what they sell can even be customized. They love being able to build something and be creative. “One of my favorite things is the amount of options we have available to customers,” Tammy said, referring to the hundreds of upholstery samples that can be used to customize sofas in all shapes, sizes and orientations to best match the décor of your home.

The start of a new year is the perfect time to finally take on the home redecoration project you’ve been thinking of doing. So why not visit C.R. Porter for some inspiration? If the idea of redecorating sounds intimidating or overwhelming, Tammy is happy to set up in-home consultation appointments. “Most people know what they’re doing, but they need the reassurance and guidance,” said Tammy. “We prefer to work with people as opposed to working for them.”

No matter what you’re looking for, you can be certain that everything you see in the shop was purchased and displayed with care and thought. “We try not to duplicate things,” said Tammy. “We’re not afraid to think outside the box. And we buy things that we’d love to have in our own homes.”

• The team at C.R. Porter tries to redesign the floor at least once a month.

• The name C.R. Porter came from an old family name.

• An easy start to customizing your home? Choose a unique fragrance that guests will remember.

As you probably have heard by now, the old Rasputin building is getting a full makeover — from head to toe! The largest tenant that will occupy the building is Chase Bank. With 4,800 square feet, the new space will fulfill all of your banking needs from a spacious interior with multiple service windows, along with a walk up and drive thru ATM. Expected to open this fall, we here at Lincoln Center are very excited about the new addition. Chase Bank serves nearly “half of America’s households with a broad range of financial services, including personal banking, credit cards, mortgages, auto financing, investment advice, small business loans and payment processing.”

The banking center is expected to open in Fall 2016.

Pizza pie, oh my! Another new addition to Lincoln Center South will be the famous Pieology Pizzeria. Serving up a make your own pizza and salad menu — the new to Lincoln Center eatery will be a dining experience the entire family will enjoy. With over 2,500 square feet of space, the restaurant will also offer a spacious outdoor dining area. Pieology is located throughout the United States, with its closest location in Sacramento. Their motto? Fresh and flavorful pizza with no limits. Bring on the pie!

Here’s more from Pieology’s Website:

“Before we created more than 78 billion pizza possibilities, our story began in the kitchen, with our founder, his wife and daughters, and a plan to share time together. From that day on, Pieology would forever be a fresh retreat from the everyday hustle and bustle. Where the only thing more important than quality food is quality people to share it with.We believe pizza brings out the best in us, which is why we’re setting it free. After all, you can’t slap limits on creativity or inspiration and still expect to change the world. You have to give people the freedom to choose.

We didn’t set out to create just another make-your-own pizza place. We’re here to feed our community, nourish creativity and bring people together. It’s a bigger vision. One filled with love and purpose. For Pizza. People. Passion.Your Pieology might feel warm and familiar inside, but when it comes to taste, it’s like visiting the first time, every time.”

The restaurant is set to open in the Fall of 2016.

One of the most eagerly anticipated stores in Lincoln Center is now open and ready to help you get all your holiday shopping done!

Located in the former Campbell’s location, McCaulou’s Department Store is a one stop shopping experience. Not only does this store have an extensive selection of clothing for men, women, children, and infants, but they also carry shoes, toys, fragrances, and cosmetics. An added incentive for those doing their holiday shopping at McCaulou’s is their gift wrapping services, which is free with every purchase of $15 or more.

“Our spectrum of coverage is broad,” said Dave McCaulou, founder of the family operated store, which has twenty one other locations throughout Northern California.

The clothing selection features day wear and sleep wear, in a variety of well known brands, including the beloved Tommy Bahama. Columbia, Nike, and Life is Good clothing is carried throughout the store, and you can also find attire featuring Northern California’s favorite athletic teams.

Just a few of the other brands that can be found in the men’s section are Nautica, Volcom, Levi’s, and Woolrich. DKNY and Anne Klein are carried in the women’s sleepwear and lingerie sections, and for everyday clothes, brands such as Roxy, Billabong, and Free People round out the section for women. Many of those same brands can be found in the children’s clothing sections, too. As for shoes, everything from classics such as Converse and Tom’s are in stock, as well as Lucky Brand. And there aren’t just shoes for adults and children- they also carry infant shoes. Pendleton’s popular beach towels are also in supply, as well as Jansport backpacks.

While Dave opened the first McCaulou’s store in 1963, he got his start in the department store business by working at F.W. Woolworth’s at age twelve. His team is also as well established as he is. Most of his management team has been with the company for over twenty years, some even longer than that. His son, daughter, and granddaughter are also involved with the stores.

“We look forward to serving this community,” said Dave. “Lincoln Center has a unique atmosphere to it. When we saw that, we thought we could be a perfect fit.”

At Lincoln Center, the environment is important to us, and that’s why we’re doing our part to protect it and use our resources wisely. Drought-tolerant plants on a drip watering system have replaced all the grass along Pacific Avenue, dramatically lowering water usage. Parking lot lights have been replaced and updated to energy-efficient LED lights.
