Fall is arguably one of the better seasons when it comes to fashion and that’s especially true for shoes. As the weather begins to cool off, we’re able to break out the booties and boots. Although, it’s still warm enough to throw on our flats or a pointed toe heal. Check out these adorable fall trends that can be found in Lincoln Center this season.

Booties are a classic fall shoe. They look great with all your go-to fall outfits, such as a fall dress or ripped jeans. The two booties pictured at the top, from FINA and Dennis Shea pair perfectly with cuffed jeans and a sweater. You can go for a more sleek and dressy bootie look with the black leather styles from Flair or the peep toe bootie heel from FINA on the bottom. You can never have enough booties in your closet for fall — that’s a fact.

Tall Boots

It’s time to begin breaking out your tall boots and riding boots — a fall staple that also transitions perfectly from fall into winter. Flair Boutique has a lot of different tall boot styles, pictured above. The brands, Aquatalia and Valdini, bring top fashion, trendiness, comfort and wearability!  In leather, suede or patent, with skin or quilted detail and waterproof for our hopeful rainy season, these knee boots and over the knee boot are just what you need to add “kick” to your fall looks.

The pointed toe look is an absolute favorite around the Center and a must-try for fall. Add a pattern to your pointed toe shoe for a fun way to add a little sass, such as these cheetah flats from FINA. Pointed toe heels are a chic and stylish way to dress up any outfit, they look great with black jeans or beautiful with a sleek dress for a night out. The silver shoe above is available at FINA and the elegant marsala heel is from Dennis Shea.

This season for men it’s all about high end boots and sneakers. These short UGG boots from Dennis Shea Shoes, pictured on the top, are a hot trend this fall. This style, as well as the lace ups boots, look great with jeans. The Cole Haan sneakers are a casual but cool look for men this season too. They come in and many different styles, colors and sizes, all at Dennis Shea.

I have a tendency to find a pair of shoes that I love and live in them! I wear them so much that they begin to get worn down and eventually become unwearable. If any of you are similar to myself, you understand how sad it can be when your favorite shoes are no longer wearable! Lucky for us, we have Cavagnaro’s Shoe Repair here in Lincoln Center who are professionals when it comes to restoring shoes. Can you say life saver!? It’s safe to say that the Cavagnaro’s are experts in their field of shoe repair considering they recently celebrated their 80th anniversary of their first store opening. Tony Cavagnaro opened his first shoe repair shop in Stockton on Septemeber 1, 1935 and it has since been passed down to his grandson, Dan Cavagnaro, who runs the Lincoln Center shop. So next time you wear down your favorite pair of shoes, be sure to take them in to Cavagnaros and let the experts save your sole!

We have a local shoe celebrity in our community! The President of UGG Boots, a local Stocktonian, Connie Rishwain will be the keynote speaker at the Women’s Leadership Conference on Friday, October 23rd at the University of Pacific. The Women’s Leadership Conference is a fabulous event that brings together women leaders in our community in order to inspire and empower our youth and adults. Hope to see you there!
