It is truly hard to believe that a year has passed since my arrival in Stockton to join the University of the Pacific as the Director of Athletics. What a year it has been! I quickly learned about the pride and connected nature of this special community and university so being so embraced by our neighbors and supporters in such a gracious manner was a priceless gift.
As I reflect back on this exceptional year, I am very proud of the efforts and achievements of our student-athletes, coaches, and staff who are passionate and impactful in their endeavors. This was a year that showcased the successes of our teams, the achievements of our student-athletes, the generosity of our donors, the support of our business partners, the progress of our facility projects, and the many special moments and events that we shared throughout the year.
We represent a program focused on growth and success in the classroom, in competition, and in the community. This life-changing experience is built on the pillars of family, balance, innovation, and a winning spirit strengthened by a foundation and tradition forged through opportunity and generations of realized dreams. When confronted with challenges, our Tiger Family consistently perseveres and overcomes obstacles to achieve excellence. Whether this involves NCAA tournament victories, conference championships, graduating seniors with a sense of purpose, serving our community, or excelling on an exam or in a job interview, we set big goals and reach them – all while representing our University and community with pride.
Our advancement as a program is a direct result of the passion, perseverance, and commitment year-in and year-out from over 300 student-athletes, coaches, staff, campus administration, faculty members, alumni, parents, community, and friends. I sincerely thank you all for your dedication to Tiger Athletics. You are integral to the ongoing development and success of this athletics program, your hometown team!
