Local High School Seniors Receive Scholarships from Lincoln Center

With a record number of scholarships given in one single year, the 2019-2020 high school seniors of San Joaquin County made it extremely difficult to make a decision. From various high schools all over San Joaquin County, we’re confident these extremely well-rounded teens are sure to be successful wherever their college choices lead them. Their academic spirit and drive is truly inspiring.

The 2019-20 recipients are: Mary Barnes; Lodi High School, Nicole Cottman; Lincoln High School, Sofia Dixon; Saint Mary’s High School, Kyla Figueroa; Franklin High School, Brittney Heras; Tokay High School, Andreas Pappas; Lodi High School, Montserrat Rebollo; Lincoln High School and Jesus Santillan; Lodi High School.

The Lincoln Center Scholarship Program was created to promote and support the educational growth of students in San Joaquin County. In its 7th year, the scholarships are funded through Lincoln Properties, Ltd. This year more than $4,000 in scholarship money was awarded.

High school seniors with a 3.0 GPA or higher attending school in San Joaquin County were eligible to apply. The 2020-21 Lincoln Center Scholarship Program applications will be available later this year.

Scholarship Applications are closed for the 2019-2020 school year. Please check back in October 2020 for the 2020-2021 applications.
