Winter Gear Donation Drive

Help students experience nature while learning about science at the Sky Mountain Outdoor Education Center by donating new or gently used snow gear and winter clothes at the donation drive in the parking lot of 85C Bakery Cafe – look for the balloons Friday, Oct. 29, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Donations can be purchased directly on Amazon at https://bit.ly/SkyMountain_WishList.

The winter gear will outfit the 5th and 6th grade students going to Science Camp at the Sky Mountain Outdoor Education Center, which is operated by the San Joaquin County Office of Education.

Requested items: snow boots, snow coats, snow pants, snow gloves, snowshoes, and beanies. Clothing sizes: children’s sizes 10-12 and up to adult medium. Shoe and boot sizes: Big Kids 5-7.5 and up to adult size 9.
